Delray Breakers on the Ocean

This place is disgusting. Run down. Mold infested.over priced. I am a local- there are better options. Do not stay here. If I could give ZERO stars I would. Staff was rude, room was literally so filthy we left and paid for a different hotel. I have never posted a negative review in my life. But this place should never have guests.

It is a very quiet place, the beaches are spectacular and more private, there are not many people, which is what we loved. The continental breakfast service should vary a little, and the coffee maker should be cleaned a little more since the coffee had a strange taste, the rest was perfect, the apartment was very comfortable with central air conditioning, towels available at all times, the pool was Well, it has access for people with reduced mobility. I visited July 2023. When I arrived they gave me the key to my room. When I walked in it was full of propane gas smell. I checked the stove and saw the gas burner had been left on. It must have been for some time because the smell was through out the room and very bad. The office moved me to another room. That new room had a VERY LARGE patch of mold on the ceiling. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. I did not stay. I asked for my money to be returned, which they did. Fortunately, for me I was only a few hours away from home. If you are considering a long trip to Delray Breakers, I hope your experience is better than mine or you will be in a very difficult position. The office manager was cooperative but very unfriendly and unprofessional. (not mike, his wife).
