Took my Samsung in for repair. It's a 46" LED TV around 7 year old. Called around. I got the run around. Then I called Bob's TV in DeLand FL. Was able to bring it right in and away I went. Now prior to this the TV was taking up to 45 minutes to come on. It would repeat cycling over and over. I was shocked, because I took advantage of being in a are where I got something to eat, did some shopping I went and got oil change, when I was finished. got a call TV was ready, I NEVER EVEN LEFT DELAND Picked up TV The owners real friendly and easy to talk too. The price of repair was more than very reasonable; it was affordable.
A few months later I called Bob's for a turntable repair. He said he could fix it. I brought it over to him. A couple weeks later I had to call him. He said turntable is ready. I went down there. The tech said "you just needed a new needle" I asked him do you have a record to test this on. No I am sorry I don't; I got charged $70.00 total. The 35.00 I left and an additional 35 for the generic needle he put on. I did ask for the old needle back. It was never used and was NEW. Now, he did tell me he tested it. LIAR LIAR LIAR, I got home put on a record and it had the exact same problem. I called him up and his number was disconnected.. He did not test it, he gave me some crap needle he had in a drawer, I took it to a guy in Orlando who did repair it for $60.00
