I've had AAA since I was a new driver in 1986. I've always been satisfied up until now. On July 16th I was an hour away from home and my car broke down. I called for a tow and was told one was in route. Nobody showed up and no driver called so we checked with AAA and the call had been canceled on their end. This happened three more times. To be clear I called AAA explained that my calls had been canceled several times before and even after my fifth time calling I did not get a tow. They kept telling me that my policy only paid for 5 miles and the distance I wanted it towed was further than that so the dispatcher canceled it. I told them I was aware and I would pay the difference but I should at least get my 5 miles out of AAA because they got their money out of me however I did not end up getting a tow from AAA. Not once did AAA call me to let me know they had canceled my tow, so each time I was waiting for quite a while before I called AAA again just to learn that it had been again canceled. I did not get my tow and I am very upset about it. I was parked at the side of the road in 90 weather in a black car in the middle of the day with a small old dog and my husband for 4 over hours due to this. Be advised that this could happen to you because other Google reviewers have had the same issue happening. I don't know if anyone else had it happen four times but I am very frustrated at this time because AAA has made no attempt to make this right. My thoughts keep going to some elderly person that could possibly have sat and waited thinking that their tow was on the way. It was so hot, that can cause health problems and even death.

AAA puty life in danger! Left me standard for 12 hours on the side of the interstate then promised me a free year of service for their screw up THEN canceled my membership before I could claim the free year. Do not recommend.

Being lied to once before cost me money, the second incident has cost me more money due to an uninformed agent who wasn't properly trained on how to present the( terms & conditions) for the policy. All calls are recorded( in this day in age) I find it strange both complaints I've mentioned were conveniently unavailable for my benefit/refunds; and was certainly (conveniently missing)for an excuse to NOT refund my money, ESPECIALLY since the contract became voided due to the AGENT'S error of not presenting the proper terms and conditions of the policy.... YET and STILL they were expecting AND accepting my payments for a contract they CLAIMED should not exist due to the ridiculous requirements ( terms & conditions) they claimed were not met , now I have to reestablish a new policy with another company when I left the one I had for Triple Rip Off !!! ..... NEVER AGAIN ....

Had membership and full coverage PAID for the entire year. Vehicle was located after theft by police recovered vehicle. AAA membership was notified of located vehicle. AAA fraudulently claimed I had " NO" insurance or membership ongoing for (2)+ years, failed to act, investigate, and/or recover the vehicle. Then AAA openly lied to the Wisconsin Office of Commission OCI their false claim AND fraudulent misrepresentation to the OCI. OCI Christine Keeley for the OCI failed to act when the Declaration pages were produced and once they discovered AAA rep was "LYING" to the Wisconsin Office of Insurance Commission enforcement. I have been without a vehicle for more than 3+ years!!!!! A bunch of shady characters, horrible people, dishonest, deceitful HOWEVER, REMEMBER YOU CAN NOT AND WILL NOT DECEIVE GOD!
