A Woman's View Women's Healthcare

I went in for a quote today. The front staff was rude. I didnt say anything , but my son was with me and mentioned how rude the woman was when we left. If a child noticed this then that speaks volumes!!!!

My appointment was at 10:15. I was waiting until 11:25 and still not been seen. If you have staffs shortage, do not schedule too many patients at a same time.

Rude staff. They asked me to show up 30 minutes early for my appointment and 50 minutes after I arrived I asked when they thought I'd be seen and the woman at the desk said the doc was currently seeing a patient with 2 others were ahead of me. Totally unapologetic and defensive response and she told me this is what I should expect when going there. I have a medical issue that will likely require multiple appointments and this office does not feel trustworthy nor are they welcoming. Not sure why anyone would choose this office when there are many others that will be a better experience.

Great staff - easy to get in for exam and doctors are helpful in getting healthy.

Dr. Boyd was my obgyn until I lost insurance and it has taken me about 7 years to find someone who can do all the procedures she can. I have endometriosis and it was pretty severe. I've run into people who don't believe me, or can't operate or just won't listen and want to do a hysterectomy. Doctor Boyd was my mom's Gynecologist and my mom was upset about my pains one day as a very young teen and how no one would listen, she asked to see me and instantly knew what was wrong. Just a happy accident that we had appointments on the same day and doctor Boyd asked how her day was. We were so lucky to have her for most of my life. If cash pay were an option I could afford I would have in a heart beat. I finally got surgery again for endo and even my surgeon was impressed by her previous work.
