Urban Southwest Capital - Multifamily Management

This company manages the complex my mother-in-law rents from and they are HORRIBLE. The office staff on property are never available, do not answer calls or address issues. Urban SW has hung up on her twice without even listening to her issues - all they do is tell her to contact the onsite management and hang-up on her. There are rats and mice all over Brittany Square apartments and they are dead in the walls. The fly infestation is horrible and in the two weeks she has been asking for help, the onsite mgr walked thru the apt one time and has been ghosting her calls and is never onsite. There is now a fly infestation, and the smell is so bad, she is not able to live in the apartment. Call after call - not returned. The office staff answering the phone at Urban SW Management - a man - is extremely rude. Health Department and Housing Authority are being contacted. Beware of any properties Urban SW manage.

I asked the office staff to fix my mail box at my apartment building, two days go and when i drove up today to I check my mail it’s still broken with my mail in it. I was walked over and knocked on the door to the management and asked why mail mailbox was opened and unfixed when I asked them to fix it two days ago and they told me they didn’t have the part and had to order it. I asked the lady upfront how long it’s going take for the part to come in and she tells me “I don’t know.” I responded with “So how long will my mail box stay open?” and she says “I don’t know however long it takes? So I asked her “You’re just going to leave my mailbox open and broken for an underdetermined time?” She responded with “I’ll get fixed when it gets fixed.” I angrily told her that “If any mail goes missing in the time that my mailbox is open and unfixed I would press charges and sue her.” It’s a Federal offense to tamper or open some else mail. My management company neglected their responsibility of maintaining my mailbox which leaves it open for literally anyone to just take mail away before I get the chance to open and read it. I pay rent and a maintenance fee so that they can have these part on hold.
