UT Southwestern Outpatient Building

ARRIVED AT 3PM GOING THROUGH SYSTEM PLACED IN A ROOM at 9:41PM WITH CT AND LABS COMPLETED AND RECORDED IN HIS MYCHART AT AROUND 6PM. AT 9:41PM WHEN FINALLY IN PLACED IN A ROOM THE TECH THAT RECEIVED US SHES WAS AWESOME. THEN LEFT SAID YOUR NURSE AND DR WILL BE IN TO SEE YOU WAITED 1HR 10 MIN. NO NURSE TO EVEN INTRODUCE HERSELF. WENT TO FRONT DESK. EXPLAIN THE TIME NOBODY HAS STOPPED IN ROOM NUMEROUS OF TIMES REPEATED HIS IN SEVERE PAIN. Needs medication.THE DR SAID AT 10:49 HER SHIFT DOESN'T START TILL 11PM. UNTIL THEN but noted SHE HAS OTHER PATIENTS. HOW OUR #1 HOSPITAL RATING???????. RIGHT ABOUT NOW ? 11:05 DR SHARAF NORHAN COMES IN SAY YOUR DIAGNOSIS IS ------ GIVEN MEDS AND SOMETHING FOR PAIN THAT WAS SEVERE AND AFTER 11 HRS OF WAITING WAS BEING ADDRESS. 15 MINUTES PAIN MEDS WEREN'T HELPING ASK NURSE TO MENTION TO DR. NO RESPONSE AN HR LATER NURSE WALKS IN WITH DISCHARGE. I QUESTION THE PAIN MEDICATION SHE SAID WERE DISCHARGING PAPERWORK IS DONE. I INSISTED NOT SIGNING NOT DISCHARGED. AGREED TO ORFERING PAIN MED FOR NEXT DAY UNACCEPTABLE HIS IN PAIN DUE TO A SEVERE INFECTION FINALLY ORDER MED AT UT PHARMACY. MEDS ARE NOT HELPING PAIN IS STILL SEVERE. WHY BECAUSE THEY DONT CARE THERE THEIR TO MAKE A PAYCHECK CHRGE THE INSURANCE 1000s OF DOLLARS I ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO START SUBMITTING COMPLAINTS AND LET OUR VOICE BE HEARD THAT WE NEED PROFESSIONIAL MEDICAL ATTENTION . AND WE ARE NOT JUST A NUMBER WE PAY THE SALARY TO ALL OF THIS PEOPLE STAFFED BY HOSPITALS AND OUR TAXES PAY FOR GRANTS AWARDED AS WELL.

My experience here was nothing short of AMAZING! I had my MRI done here on 10/28. The Asian female, Middle Eastern woman, And African American male who were working that day (R knee MRI) were kind, helpful and make the whole experience/process VERY easy for me. I also had a knee arthroscopy surgery on 12/22. From the pre-op staff (Angie and Lorna and other names I can't remember), the operating staff (my OR nurse's last name was George) to Dr. Shah and the PACU staff - EVERYONE WAS AMAZING! I can not thank you enough for the care I received. Everyone went above and beyond. As a 33 year old with no medical problems, pretty healthy, and someone who only has to see their PCP once every year - this whole process has been new to me and the staff eased all of my fears. I am so glad I chose UT Southwestern for my care.

i like the whole medical setup here,but i jus think this building is the coolest looking one,plus,if you park in the garage,the crosswalk cop is so commanding when they stop oncoming traffic for you,..i guess i get a kinda get a kick out of it....okioki,i move slower when the traffic is stopped for me-dont judge me!

I was admitted for Urology surgery. Dr Lamack and his stuff are amazing, I didnt have any difficulties with anyone there. I appreciate the digitize philosophy that the hospital use which makes the process way faster and easier than any other hospitals.
