So i started going to this health department in October when i found out i was pregnant with my first. I was put on hold for any care til i was 10 1/2 weeks along and when i had my first app at 6 weeks {this being when i found out i was pregnant}, it was ok except that they do not know how to draw blood! They poked me so many times that i passed out. On my first official appointment they used a sound machine to try to find the heartbeat {was told it was gonna be an ultrasound} and they couldn't find it and sent me to get an ultrasound and when i had the ultrasound they said i was only measuring at 5 weeks {no heartbeat or baby pole} when i was supposed to be 11 weeks and they send it to my "doctors" term used loosely. They called and told me i just wasn't as far along as they thought making me feel better and set a new appointment. I went to my bfs and noticed that my breast soreness was going away and i pretty much knew what was happening and went to the hospital and they did another ultrasound and blood test and confirmed i was having a miscarriage and after i left there the pain and blood started coming and i tried calling women's health where my "doctors" were and no one answered and i called like 5 times. So a week or so later they finally called me back after 3 voice mails and asked me if i had maybe had an miscarriage ad got pregnant again and i had to explain to these morons that a real doctor confirmed i had a miscarriage! If a women isn't measuring at what shes supposed to be at in her pregnancy you should probably do some blood test and make sure her levels are up before jumping to conclusions! I would never recommend any pregnant women to go here! I will most definitely be going to genesis next time!
