Still confused as to what happened? I talked on the phone with Larry and he seemed very nice, and told me he could install my lowering springs by the end of the day no problem. When I got there Larry was on lunch break and i had to deal with "Mark" who seemed agitated for no reason. After waiting 20+ minutes he then asked me to come up to the counter where he told me that it would take too long. Ummm ok but Larry said he could do it? Why did Larry tell me he can install them but Mark says he cant? I drove 40+ minutes here all for nothing. I would like an explanation.

These guys have been around forever. They like to buddy up with you, but then when something needs work or repair, they run and dodge you and tell you to call the manufacturer of the product. In this case, it's Viper by Directed Electronics. For 4 weeks I have been trying to get this product fixed and they keep arguing with me. Trying to reach a human being at Viper isn't much better. The fact that Larry and his staff at Total Car Care have dodged every effort to fix this issue is a huge red flag and I hope you reading this will be aware.

Could not be happier with my experience at Total Car Total Care. Larry is one of the nicest guys I've met since moving to Illinois 5 years ago! After only a few minutes I felt like I was talking to an old buddy of mine. He was extremely knowledgeable about the car audio products I was interested. He offered installation options and made sure I was aware of any additional cost that could come up. Their hourly rate for installations is very reasonable. I will be back!

After spending over $1000.00 at this place, they still can't fix an ongoing issue. They don't return phone calls, they have a new installer every few weeks and the manager "Larry" is a snake. The service is hit or miss at this place. The majority of the time it's miss. I can't say much about neighboring install places either. Best Buy is over priced. Will not recommend.

I brought my 09 Jetta TDI in for window tint since doing it myself is a pain and usually doesn't come out perfect. I technically had 7 windows tinted and the price with taxes was under $300. The crew there explained the curing process very well, caring for it, etc. It has been 1 week and I have NO Bubbles, no blemishes, etc or visible seams. I have even used the defroster and rowed windows down and up, etc. If you're looking for professionals to do car tinting, Total Car is the place to go for affordable work but with prestige quality.
