Love Sun Village! Been coming here for 37 years with family. The new owners are great. I had a problem with the power for my RV when I first arrived. They came and got it repaired right away. I forgot to reserve a dock for my boat, no problem, there was one available. Really like the new online reservations, and no check out needed anymore.

STAY AWAY!!! Extremely rude owners/management. Randomly charged us an extra $114 and I’m still trying to figure out what for (they don’t answer the phone). They will try to charge you for anything once you check out. It feels like they’re making rules up as they go. Also, check out time is at 1pm but the office is closed from 12pm-1:30pm. How does this make sense?! As for the campsite, it’s extremely run down, no soap in bathrooms for an entire day, and dusty. Will never come back and would not recommend to anyone.

Nice canopy of trees for hot sunny days, staff was friendly, informative and helpful. Small camp store for grocery/fishing/swimming needs. Tucked away from any road noises, lots of waterfront spots, boat mooring docks , and cabins too if needed, swim beach, boat launch. Still reasonably priced at $35-$48, comparable for this region, hoping the new owners keep it that way. We admittedly came here after the resort at the opposite end of Blue Lake tripled their rates taking advantage of the influx of new campers out there. Discovering this place was far better after all ! The trees make this place a little private oasis for sure! We'll be back !!

We are new to RV camping. We went to a state park last week and it had lush green lawns, lots of room between spots, clean etc. So coming here was quite a different experience. We were very lucky to get a spot on the very end of a dead end road in the park, spot 32, next to some very nice considerate people. We had nobody to the right of us, a beautiful view of the adjacent sun lake, and it was quiet, because the state park was closed so there wasn’t any traffic. When exploring the park we found all the spaces incredibly close and packed together. The end where the swimming area is was extremely loud, music and people; glad we were on the opposite side of that. We brought jet skis and had a fantastic time on the lake. The lake is warm, no milfoil, pretty clear and clean. My complaints are the resort clearly doesn’t care about how poor the launch and slip area is. The launch is horribly small, very steep, and no concrete under it, it was an embarrassing nightmare trying to load the jet skis back up. The slips we paid for to store them for the weekend were rickety, falling apart, you wondered if you were gonna just go crashing in. The whole slip is just filled with disgusting sulfur smelling muck up to you’re waist. No joke I had to get off the ski to stop it because it’s so narrow and tight in there, you sink up to your belly in the most foul smelling muck a few feet from shore. Overall we had a good time, but the lakes just too small for our thirst for exploration on the jet skis.
