So disappointed in the service. I called October 2023 to reserve the entire house for our wedding in October 2024. The woman I spoke with told me to call back in May because they can't do anything until 6 months prior to that weekend.
My parents were looking at the rooms for that weekend and noticed 3 rooms have already been reserved. Apparently my dad called twice this week and left voicemails both times and I just did the same. I guess they don't answer their phones either.
I can't tell you how frustrated I am that I have family driving/flying into Southern Indiana from hours away and now I can't even have them stay with us. We definitely will be looking elsewhere for our wedding weekend.

While going through some things I inherited from my mother's side of the family I found some really old photos of the Inn, and probably photos of my kintner family in the inn that are really really old. my great GMA Ann kintner had saved all the stuff but I never met her husband but I wonder if there is some family that would be interested in some of the photos

First off, there was nobody at the front desk for check in. The owner came to do it, and he said he really wasnt sure what he was doing.
The ad says AC, it was not on during a week of high 70s. with our room on the 2nd floor it was needed. The owner didn't want to turn on, and told my husband to go in one of the ther rooms and find a fan.
The ad offers fresh homemade cookies as a snack, coffee and tea. none of those items were available.
The bed had totally been sprayed with fabreeze. So much so we smelled like it the next morning. Breakfast was to be served at a certain time, we went down and waited. no one in sight, kitchen dark, we knew there was an issue. Owner said oops no one here to cook. Told us to walk down two blocks to the Cafe and show them our key and they would charge him.
when we arrived, going up to our room, we noticed a room with an unmade bed. The next morning the owner asked us if we had changed rooms thru the night. we told him it was like that when we arrived.
Not a good experience for our very first B&B!

Pretty cool place. Would stay again, but bring a ladder to get into bed. And I would not annoy the ghost that kept opening the wardrobe door after we hung our clothes in it. It stopped after I made him take the clothes out and hang them on the bathroom hook. Bonusthe breakfast was simple but fresh and tasty and made the room smell fabulous!
