Stay far away from bakers rental they are a very disrespectful Co are you still live at one of their properties for year Lance the property manager at that location was rude and very inconsiderate we moved in February of last year everything was fine at the beginning we had a neighbor upstairs that would play music and TV at from 12:00 am to 5am o'clock in the morning found out that the neighbor would let his friend bring his girlfriend over to party told Lance about it he said he would talk to him never did kept going on for months next thing I know is every time I talk to Lance about it by text message only he would not answer his phone or the office phone he said that he had a complaint from the neighbor upstairs I talk too loud my wife is deaf in one ear so I have to talk louder here which is against the Disabilities Act but still would not do nothing about the guy upstairs at all even called the general manager of bakers rental he said he would send a letter to them about the noise but never stop kept going and going and going and going finally after our lease was almost up at the end of January of 2021 we got 6 letters from Baker saying that Lance said there was problems with us and was wanting us to move call the general manager at Baker and he said that since Lance was wanting this out we need to move I told him it was illegal them you ask us to leave since I talk loud because my wife is deaf in one ear that is against the Disabilities Act he said he did not care that my wife was def in one ear and I talk loud he was it going to change is mine and if I was wanting to take him to court he would see me in court if you value your money and your peace of mind do not rent everybody in the office was it very rude at times we even took the money we got from the government to pay our rent months in advance we was quiet we did not play or TV loud until the guy upstairs starting during the day only but Lance the property manager is lazy he was never in the office

Prices are really low so you do get what you pay for. My biggest complaint is the buildings themselves. I live in 60 Broadmeadows building and I've been here for 2yrs. The building was built in the 60's and needs new carpet in all the hallways. There's a hole in the ceiling that has been there for over 1 year dripping water in the stained hallway carpet, its horrible. Because there's no windows are vents in the hallways, the food and weed people smoke stink up the entire hallway. Don't even get me started on the mold issue each room has which is a health hazard. Again you cant get a 3 bedroom apartment in Columbus anywhere for $775, but even for this price i don't think you should have to live under these conditions. You would think I'm living for a slum lord or something lol 1 annoying issue is they still require you to write a check to pay your rent every single month. The lady at the front desk is nice and tries her best to resolve any issue you may have but unfortunately most of the issues you may have is beyond her control. The maintenance guys are okay, they have to service many different buildings with over 120 residences and they work around the clock to fix these issues. The blame doesn't really fall on them for all the issues in these units, if they had more maintenance guys or subcontracted out some work these units would be in much better conditions. Most likely that would come in a price increase of rent though. But it may be worth it if the general living conditions would not be so bad. Cheap prices are good but not at the cost of living in smelly, moldy buildings with cockroaches popping up time to time. Even with all that to say, I would still live here because anywhere else in Columbus is twice the price or more. The pros of living here are good too. Cheap rent, you cant hear your neighbors and no one complains when you have a party, huge apartments my 3 bedroom is 1,200 sq with 2 bathrooms, you have a huge parking lot so your friends have plenty of space to park and the maintenance guys are actually really chill and nice. With all that said if your looking for somewhere cheap to live and dont mind the issues I stated above I would recommend this place as a CHEAP place to live.
