Extraordinary Moving

Todd and his team are the best. I've moved several times in the past decade between Louisiana, Virginia, North Carolina, Idaho, Georgia, etc; and I can say they are the best movers I've encountered so far. My parents use Extraordinary Moving, my sister uses Extraordinary Moving, and I'm very happy I used Extraordinary Moving. On short notice Todd was able to coordinate my move from Coeur d Alene up past Bonners Ferry and did so in a timely manner and took care of my furniture and belongings as if they were his own. Highly recommend them and I'll be using them again in the future.

At first this was a good experience, but became a negative one. In October 2020, Todd and his crew showed up on time and moved the furniture in an efficient manner across town. His crew worked really hard (a lot of stairs at the first house!). There was a box of vintage Franciscan brand dishes (a set my mom had for decades) that was broken and Todd said that he would like to replace them, which I thought was really nice of him. He even had one of his crew come in the house and apologize for dropping the box and hearing a breaking sound. Todd said he uses ebay so it would be easy for him to replace the dishes. A week later I texted him a list of the dishes that were broken with some links to ebay and replacements.com to buy replacements. Never heard back. Texted again to see how it was going. Crickets. After multiple texts and phone messages, I never heard from Todd again. His Facebook page says “We strive to be the best around and when we leave our customers are always smiling! We care about each customer as they were family. And we treat each item as it were are very own!” This was not how I ended up feeling after dealing with Todd. Pretty disappointed in the lack of communication and unprofessionalism. Even if Todd had responded to say that he changed his mind about replacing the dishes, that would have been better than being completely ignored. I really didn’t want to write a negative review, but I still haven’t heard back from Todd, over a year later, so here it is. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this company.

My truck was broken down and blocking traffic and two of their guys stopped and pushed me to the side of the road when no one else would! I am so so thankful! If this is how they treat total strangers, I can only imagine how well they must treat their customers! Thank you so much guys!

Todd and his crew are amazing, I reached out to them a few days before we were moving because our other movers did not reach out to us for confirmation. I was in a complete panic and Todd made it all better. They got the job done quickly and professionally. I will refer everyone to them!!!! And if I never movers again, they will be my first choice.
