This place is a GD circus. The only reason they got two stars is because the nurses that took care of me were very compassionate and understanding of my condition. They will treat and street you with a quickness if youre Insurance isnt great. They also messed up my prescriptions and were unwilling to correct the problem.

Their billing department is horrible. My husband paid at the hospital on the date of surgery. (enough amount to meet the deductible) I have been waiting for the claim to be filed and almost 3 months passed. I called insurance company and hospital billing department multiple times and we even had a conference call between billing department and insurance company. Health First does not even care about fixing the problem. All we asked was to re-submit the claim. Doctor's office submitted the claim correctly, but not hospital. We are supposed to meet the deductible and we are only responsible for copayment after this surgery, but since hospital does not care, we still have significant amount of deductible to meet. We have to postpone other doctor's appointment. Nobody wants to pay deductible twice! The insurance company asked to speak with the manger since nobody else was able to fix the problem. And they said the manger will call back in 2 days. I have never had a problem with insurance claim. This is the only hospital that does not know how to fix the claim problem and they don't care about customers.

Worst hospital Ive ever been too!!!!! I came there in a ambulance very very sick. My husband was watching a football game and drinking alcohol before I got sick. My husband followed behind the ambulance with a sober driver. This staff knew my husband was intoxicated when he got there and thats why he had a sober driver with. They told him I would be there over night so my husband and his sober driver left me in the ER. A hour later they decided I was being discharged. A nurse came in and she was poking me in the eyes. She putting the head of the bed straight up and other staff were pulling me out of bed and forcing me to try to walk. I was not able to walk without assistance and was very dizzy lightheaded and out of it. I could hear the staff talking about men and my drunk husband. They were talking about how intoxicated my husband was and then they wanted me to call him for a ride home.I told them I didnt feel well, my husband wasnt answering the phone and I had no ride. They got really upset handed me my phone and said call someone! I could hardly see my phone straight and next they were shooting some solution in my iv and I said what is that because it burned and the man said to wake you up! They were very forceful and abusive. The next thing I remember is them pulling me out of the bed put me in a wheel chair cause they knew I couldnt walk on my own and wheeled me into the waiting room and told the front desk a cab was coming. They should have had me leave with my husband and his driver a hour before when he was there if that is how they were going to treat me.they said I had to stay overnight cause my blood pressure was to low. Im a RN in Wisconsin and new to this area and my hospital would never tolerate this abuse. I would never abuse my client in this way or treat anyone so unkind and inhumane. Its a good thing my husband didnt pick me up cause he didnt answer the phone or I could have been sent home with a very intoxicated driver and they knew he was and kept telling me to call him for a ride! I fell very bad from trying to walk to my house after getting dropped off from a cab. I should have got stitches but I wasnt going back there. Im very disappointed with this place. I would like to press charges this was total abuse and a lack of empathy by the ER team. Its very sad Update: I have not gotten a call or follow up from this review from this hospital about the way I was treated.
