If you value your pet, then I suggest that you do not take them to the unlicensed groomer who works in this store known as Mariah. We took our four year old cat here for a simple in and out nail trim, now she's dead. You've been warned. 03/10/24 Take action all you want. I have two separate vets that would be willing to come forward and agree that it was your incompetent unlicensed so called pet groomer that caused the attack on our cat. You lied in court and so did your groomer. You and your groomer may have gotten away with this one, but I'm sure this will not be the last pet lost due to your store. And to add insult to injury, you and your groomer were smiling and laughing out of the court parking lot. Causing the death of a cat is pretty funny huh? I will continue to let people know our experience with your shop!

Pets general store is amazing! The staff is super kind and helpful. I come here once or twice a week for feeder fish for my piranahs and the fish are always healthy.

It’s unfortunate that we are having to respond to this review, as the issue was settled on April 4th of this year when a judge looked at the evidence, including the diagnosis of the attending veterinarian, and ruled against your girlfriend. You were not granted the $4,000+ you were seeking. The decision of the City of Lakewood court regarding Angela Rock vs. Pet’s General Store is public record to be viewed by anyone who cares to know. Our groomer, Mariah, receives referrals almost daily. We are proud to have a groomer that is known for her work with animals. It is truly disheartening that you are not able to accept what 2 veterinarians and a judge could clearly see. The heart condition that Bella was diagnosed with is known for going undetected until ANY remotely stressful event triggers it. You just happened to call our shop that day or this review would surely be on some other grooming salon. With that being said, we are fully prepared to take action against false accusations that have already been proven false in a court of law.
