I have been a Cox customer for well over 8 years (most likely over 12). In the past when I had a problem, I could talk or chat with someone that did not have to read off of que cards, but not any more. Over the last couple of months my internet & phone will go out for 1-2 minutes several times per day, then come back. This happens more often on windy or rainy days. This is effecting my work as I now work mostly from home. When I try and contact customer support through chat, and explain that the problem is intermittent, support states they will check my internet and tell me "it is working"... REALLY I am chatting from my computer over the internet, I know it working now. Then they tell me to reboot my router when it happens. should I have to reset my router 1- 8 times a day, does the wind and rain effect my router in my house? If I call from my cell by the time I get to talk to someone it working again and I am told everything is ok , and they can reset my router. Customer service doesn't listen or think

By far the worse internet provider ever. I was on a chat with tech about my router not working and they were like you should upgrade your service. I was like no I have the second fastest plan and its just me. 500-600mbs is plenty for what I need. After telling them no three different times they still procedeed to upgrade my plan without my permission. Funny thing is the internet is actually slower after the upgrade. When I called they were like well why did you upgrade. SMH lol. And never got a new router. Then they told everyone in my area that we would be without internet on a friday because of upgrades. Ok I get that. I work from home so I am glad they gave me the notice. But then they started working on it a day early and was not able to work for two days. I am literally moving to a new area of lakewood just so I can get AT&T fiber. Never had a problem with AT&T in the past.

staff was courteous and knowledgeable. the lady who took care of me was kind enough to open both doors for me to ease my exit with my walker.
