        THIS PLACE KILLED MY CAT. The doctor prescribed my cat way too much of insulin everyday and I ended up overdosing my cat. When he started having seizures we rushed him to the emergency hospital and once we told them his dose he was on from dr. Dan the hospital was shocked to hear how high of a dose he recommended to my cat everyday. They said they NEVER heard of a cat getting that high of a dose of insulin. After I had to put down my sweet baby boy I went back to dr.dan to tell him what the hospital told me and he was incredibly rude and took zero responsibility for what he did. Claiming that he has had many cats on that high of a dose. Which is ridiculous when the hospital just told me that the dose was the highest theyd ever seen. He was incredibly insensitive and acted like it was my fault when I was doing what he told me to do!!! This doctor is a joke. He isnt thorough, he doesnt care about you or your pet.

        Dr Dan and his staff are awesome. I haven't had a pet in a while, but when I did, they took great care of my dog and cat. He was so kind and caring when I had to put my dog down.

        I read the newest review and this is NOT accurate. I was treated wonderfully by all of the staff at this office. I would highly recommend a Pets Place to all of my family & friends.

        This place is terrible, the secretary treated me very badly when she heard my accent, I'm Latina, she started treating me differently, she's a racist, they didn't want to groom my dog, they're racists, the owner is rudely disrespectful, he yelled at me He told me that I could never take my dog there again, that they would never take care of him. They bury me saying that I didn't show up for appointments three times just to not take care of my dog because I'm Latina. If I could denounce them for racism I would do so. They are the worst pet sitter in the world. abusers terrible peoples

        I called this place to make an appointment for my dog but when they heard my Hispanic accent they hung up on me, I called again but they let me waiting for about 20 minutes and at the end the receptionist told me they dont have any available, she didnt respect to me , they were very rude to me, they are racists

      Gillian, first you have our deepest sympathy for Bubs, and we hope you treasure the memories you have. You know however, that diabetes is a serious medical condition. On February 3rd, 2022 Bubs presented unable to walk with a temp of 96.7, which means he was dying, as the normal temp is 101. His glucose was so high the value could not be determined in house but was 673 at the lab. Previously, you had been giving 4 units of insulin. We kept him for the day and were able to get his glucose down to normal by 4pm. X-rays were taken and he was constipated, had an enlarged liver and kidney stones, as well as arthritis in his spine; causing the rear limb weakness. A week later Bubs glucose was still 333, 4 hours after receiving 7 units of insulin. Having said all this to explain how we arrived at a dose of 8 units. The problems of hypoglycemia occurred when Bubs quit eating and began vomiting, but was still receiving insulin. I am sorry that you still are hurting and want to blame me.

      This client scheduled 3 different times to have her dog groomed and no showed; on Nov. 30, 23, on Dec. 20, 23 and on Jan 24, 24. Additionally I have never seen her pet as a patient. She is inconsiderate taking appointments for clients who want to have their pets groomed. Furthermore, it doesn’t matter what race you are, we welcome your pet as a patient; we just ask that you be considerate of our other patients and our limited time to care for them. We are an animal hospital not a pet sitter!

      I’m sorry you feel that way. We have been in business for over 30 years and have never discriminated against someone due to race, religion, or cultural differences. We are a busy practice and sometimes have to place someone on hold. Our phone system will not keep you on hold for that long. Also due to the volume of business we do, we don’t always have same day appointments available. It’s not uncommon for us to be booked out 2 to 3 days.
