Counselors/Therapists DO NOT know the difference between suicidal experience and suicide attempt. They will call a 5150 on you and have you detained on a 72 hour hold for simply SHARING your suicide experience, WITHOUT a plan or means to actually harm yourself or others. This is the worse facility you can find better therapy at McDonalds talking to a stranger.

Very phony people, I found excellent services elsewhere. Funny, a lot of their good reviews look like employees! Very uncomfortable being in the groups where there was no structure where I would have other clients argue with, talk over, interrupt and lecture me when it was my turn to talk! The group leaders who act like they are just concerned about college credits just sit there smirking. Could hear people goofing off right outside the door, yelling and laughing during private sessions, NO feeling of privacy or respect. Noticed staffs desks positioned right outside door of therapists office, unprofessional and creepy, could hear them talking which made me feel like they could hear me! Was able to hear people in session when sitting in the waiting room. There's a general feeling of the staff sizing you up and being looked over and likely gossiped about. Saw children left unsupervised in the waiting area who started climbing on the furniture and playing near the outlet. I said something and the person at the counter acted annoyed at me! A therapist volunteered details about another under age client I never met who I had no reason to hear about during group. Asked for all sorts of personal info like my husbands income, yeah, maybe not all women want to ask their husband for his stubs, other organization has never asked for them, a catty, out of line remark was made about my just being a housewife, never mind that I cared for a very sick child and elderly relatives. Told them nicely in private that groups were too erratic and they act like I was out of line. No I'm not! Taxpayer money pays them! The other women wouldn't show up after a while, I gave them feedback. Told me not to talk about my disabled daughter when I only did so while introducing myself but other women talked in great detail and frankly too long with no moderation about their irrelevant family members. Other organization tells us to talk about anything. Other organization NEVER lets one person disrupt and monopolize a session and each person is allotted time to talk without being interrupted, argued with or talked over. I personally think it's all set up to benefit the snobby, entitled, you know what don't smell psychology students and not the women they claim to serve!
