Working with Tony was an absolute nightmare. He talks a good game. But it was the worst most expensive loss I have ever had with a contractor. Believe the reviews of people that hired him. Services: Remodeling, General construction

Ags solutions doesnt show up when they say they are and they dont finish the job Ive been a month on a deck job it was not done correctly and he asked for pay in full the contractors and sub contractors are top notch tony had from June 16th to complete the contract. Update: Two weeks ago we gave him two weeks to complete our kitchen remodel after 2 months. It is not complete there are a lot of mistakes and budget was less than what he asked in pay. I trusted him to deliver an excellent job he didnt even complete let alone a good job. Anyone looking for I do on this company and tony Edwards pleas epm me Ill help in any way I can I have pics and over 100 pages of documted info against him.

He required I pay engineer $1700 for plans then never followed through. Ignored my contacts, finally I got other builders. The experienced one doing my work said the plans were a waste of money. I wanted this built in August and now I am paying a fortune more because of Ag Home Solutions.

We hired Tony Edwards from AGs Home Solutions in November 2021 because he had good reviews from 2018 and 2019 and he talks a really good game. We had purchased a house and he assured us the remodel would be done before we moved in December 28th. Tony was in a hurry to get the deposit and then get the demo done so he could collect the next payment. After that, work became nonexistent and Tony became noncommunicative. We ended up moving into the house with no bathroom or kitchen. My husband and I had to manage the whole renovation. We had to take off work, meet the subcontractors, ask them to fix problems (one wall was opened three different times because of mistakes), make them lists, and we ended up having to hire our own electrician (there were four different plumbers and 3 electricians..not sure why they wouldnt return but I have my suspicions). We personally spoke to one of the plumbers who says that he is still owed money by Tony from previous jobs and that is why he didnt come back. Tony had no qualms about trying to do things out of order to get to the next benchmark where he could receive more money, and he did not order proper inspections. Finally in April, we gave him a weeks deadline to finish, and because we wouldnt give him more money (the money that was due, according to contract, after the completion of the job), he abandoned the job and we didnt hear from him again until we received a letter from an attorney this week threatening to sue US! Extortion and harassment! The only thing he was interested in was money. He was at our house for less than two hours the whole 5 months and it wasnt to supervise. Right here on Google reviews there are several people who have been cheated by him and I know of others. Do yourself a favor and do not hire him. If you are even thinking about it, contact Dean Burbage at the NC Licensing Board at two five two, nine two seven, three three two six and hear for yourself. Also, feel free to contact me at the email maureengreen then the at symbol and then alumni with a period after it then ecu.edu to exchange numbers to share your horror story or to hear mine. Service: Remodeling

The other one star reviews were my experience exactly. Supervisor rarely came out to check on work, permits were not pulled as quoted, he quoted me for more joists than they replace (like 40 as opposed to 16) then when I asked for a back charge Tony said that number in the quote was a typo. We paid $18,000 to have some joists replaced and new flooring in most but not all of our downstairs. They took back tons of wood and piers that were not used but I did not receive a refund for that. Its still uneven and they left trunk lines down all under our house my husband had to tie up. We cleaned up after the crews everyday. It took way longer than he promised but he was happy bc I put the cash in his hand. In the end it was a massive loss and I learned a lot about who not to hire. We were new to town at the time but now when I ask around its an overwhelming do not use them from everyone I speak to.
