Add More Custom Cabinets

I have only one word to say if you are thinking of hiring Add More to do your cabinets.....DON'T. Working with them has been the worst experience of the whole house building project. I gave Doug a substantial down payment in March and was told 4-6 weeks until they were done. I planned on 8 weeks because I know all the trades are very busy now. Well, I moved into my house the first of September and didn't have finished kitchen or bathroom cabinets. I heard more excuses from Doug than any other of the trades in 11 months of building. The cabinets are sub-par, and they don't even build the doors and drawer fronts. They have a cabinet shop out of the city build them. The painting is very poor, all the end grains show, and I even have HAIR in one of the cabinets. They were installed out of square, and the lazy susan door would not open, because the cabinet was built wrong, so they had to move all the door fronts to make room, leaving nice big holes in the back of the drawer front. I should have gone to Home Depot and bought cabinets. They would have been just as nice as these, and we would have not had to endure months of excuses and poor workmanship. I really don't know how this company stays in business. Don't use them, you will be sorry you did.
