image I usually dealt with Rich. He was very professional and always took care of us. I believe he has either sold or left the company and new owner is no where near as good as Rich. I called him for services at our place and he said he was busy with a job so would come a few days later. No follow up. Called again and told me they will come saturday. Again no follow up or call to say they would not be coming. When I called to ask why they did not come the answer was they were busy. I understand busy but a courtesy call to say they will not be coming for a 3pm time would have been considerate. To top things off I just had service done by previous owner Richie on 12/11. Again new owner did not care and told me to find someone else. So not only was he concerned that their job didnt even last 2 months but also cared less about fixing the problem or even coming to see what was going on. I had been using the service for 2 years now with old owner Rich. Again nothing but good things to say about previous owner. New owner though is unprofessional and does not care. Do not use this service and please do yourself a favor and find someone else!

image Hydro Dynamics Pluming did a rodding one year ago and promised in writing for 2-year warranty. Three weeks ago when I had the water drainage problem, I called the owner (Richie Diaz) so he came and looked at it. He insisted no need to rod the sewer. Instead, he cut the pipe in the laundry room and charged me another $298. Yesterday the drainage problem caused a flooding in my utility room. Richie Diaz came over today and refused to rod even within the 2-year warranty, unless I pay him again for the rodding. Of course, I am not going to keep paying this shady business owner for the work that's supposed to be done with no additional cost since it's in the warranty period.
Stay away from Hydro Dynamics Pluming as the owner is so dishonest and unprofessional and unethical.

Mrs. Wang Per our conversation today (9/28/23) Hydro Dynamics Plumbing was at your residence on January 6, 2022 to restore flow to the sanitary sewer line from the outside access on the front lawn. We did offer in writing a two year warranty which consists of one free rod job if the sewer line is backed up when we are physically there to see it. On 9/7/23 we received a call from you regarding a slow kitchen drain and a clogged laundry tub. When we arrived at your home, you stated that the sewer line was clogged and we ran plenty of water to confirm that the sewer wasn't clogged and by confirming this the customer (Mrs. Wang and I ) went outside where the access to the sewer is located and we could see that there was good flow, no clogg at that time. We proceeded to unclog the laundry tub and replaced the P-trap under the sink and had to make a minor repair to the vent pipe in order to restore flow to the laundry tub. Today 9/28/23 we went out this morning free of charge due to Mrs. Wang calling yesterday evening and stating that her sewer is backing up. We went out this morning free of charge expecting to see the sewer backing up. When we arrived we ran the laundry sink for 20 minutes and flushed the basement toilet 5x and did not see a sewer back up, customer and I proceeded to go outside where the sewer access is at and we could see the drain flowing. Our warranty is for rodding a clogged sewer which is written on the invoice. As far as given Mrs. Wang a price to rod it, I did not mention a price. What I stated was "I can not rod it because I don't see an issue at the moment". Mrs. Wang then asked me if she was to pay for the rodding would I rod it and I stated " yes, because it's consider maintenance rodding". When I was about to leave, Mrs. Wang approached her neighbor who had a baby in a stroller and stated that I was ripping her off and refused to rod her line, so I asked her neighbor that he is more then welcome to look and verify that the sewer is draining. Mrs. Wang then stated "don't involve my neighbor". If I was being dishonest why would I tell your neighbor to verify that the sewer is draining. As far as your comments about being dishonest, unprofessional and unethical before I left I assured you to call me if the sewer is clogged, I have no issues honoring my warranty and you stated that you didn't want my services anymore. Our warranty per our terms and agreement state the problem has to be present when we arrive.

image Came home this afternoon to find water in my basement. the water at the floor drain was a still puddle, nothing was going down. I tried to snake it out but that was futile. After reading a reviews of a handful of plumbers I called Hydro Dynamics (it didn't hurt that they were also closest to my home). Richie answered the phone when I called, listened to my description of the problem and said he'd have someone there in under 90 minutes. Richie himself showed up about 70 minutes later. He looked at the situation (overhead sewers) and checked a few things, then diagnosed a failed sump pump. He had one on the truck and less than 90 minutes after he arrived the new pump was installed and the water was flowing down the drain again. Price was very reasonable for an emergency type call. Service: Sump pump installation
