My child was in the infant room and stayed sick. The teachers were always coughing over the babies and blowing there nose and not washing there hands. Witnessed this on several occasions. My child ended up getting the flu (several cases in the daycare) hand foot mouth and several viral infections while attending this daycare. My child also would go home some days with no pants on just a onsie. This became an occurrence and they seemed to think nothing of it even though my child had spare clothes they would not change her or notify me to bring extra items to pickup. The owner Yolanda avoids confrontation at any cost and will tell you to speak to the teachers in the room instead of bringing concerns to her attention. I would not recommend

We have had ups and downs over the past few years there. But the supervision of the kids has really gone downhill a lot. We have had and heard multiple situations were there has been fights that have not been caught until after the fact. We are very unhappy with the violent behaviors of resent and are planning a move due to this.

CHILDREN'S HOUSE was great. Staff are all caring and wonderful. However when Childtime bought the business everything went downhill. All they care about is money and NOT your child. So many extra charges and one day late fees even if your child doesn't attend on a Monday for any reason. If you don't sign them out every day on the monitor that is another $35 fee. Even if the monitor is not working. They lost a check that I wrote and put in the box. Claiming it wasn't in there. I know it was but we still had to pay a late fee. Outrageous! The Children's House would have never done that. Depriving children of water and bathroom breaks unless it's scheduled is absurd! A school age child 2cd to 5th grade should be allowed to go the restroom freely. Especially since they put up cameras and SHOULD have at least 1 staff member in the building at all times. NOT informing parents of injuries is not acceptable!! Especially since we had to pay the special insurance fee twice in a 6 month time period just because Childtime took over. My daughter had been going there since she was a year old. She will NOT be returning due to Childtime. The list of rules and fees you had to sign and agree to was as thick as a book. I did not agree with alot of their policies and wrote comments beside each one with a detailed explanation of why. Most were just unreasonable and absurd. The staff stayed the same and were always great but I observed some of the new staff, on several occasionson, on their cell phones not even watching my child or the other children in the same vicinity. Example: staff texting on cell phone while I walk in to pick up my child and I get hit in the face with one of the 6 flying balls the kids were throwing in that small room. We are talking about almost 20 4th and 5th grade students playing freely basically unsupervised. The parking lot is horrible. Having 2 buildings to split up the age group of the kids was convenient but having to loop around the parking lot was very inconvenient. They need to have 2 separate entrances. One for each building. Due to the entrance/exit situation, I have almost been hit head on too many times to count due to parents not following the rules. Then cars taking up 2 spaces is just ridiculous as well. Staff expressed concerns over this on a weekly basis. It occured to a whole lot more parents than just me. But that situation never changed. The lack of personal concern and safety for my child, the business being impersonal , and the constant texts/calls/emails over money are why I pulled my child from there. One day, please that's just not acceptable. They need to make some major improvements if they want to keep kids there. Most of the mothers I spoke with agreed with my concerns and were also not having their child return in the fall. It was a wonderful place but now it doesn't even deserve one star. Major disappointment ☹👎

I love this Daycare/preschool and before/after care center. They are Nationally accredited...when your child graduates from preschool they are more than ready for Kindergarten. They offer so many fun experiences...nature club, music class, Little kicks soccer, trips to the library, Lewis Ginter, The Children's Museum, puppet shoes, other theater groups, pirate and princess days, sooooooo much more. They put on an Amazing Christmas pageant in December that is so look heartwarming!. The spring art show and concert plus family picnic is also soooo fun. And the summer "camp" program for the school age kids was also incredible. My girls would ask to go there! The teachers and other staff are wonderful. Clearly they all love spending time with/ teaching/ And caring for the children. It was such a peace if mind knowing my girls were in good hands when I was at work.
