The Edge

Pros-walking distance of campus and people are nice Cons-the smell of weed is constant, always police here due to crime. The shower wasn’t draining and I asked for someone to come out, they didn’t get anyone out so I ended up having to go out and buy the supplies to do it myself. People constantly screaming at the basketball court. Don’t get me started on how they allow everyone waiting in line to get into the complex, they don’t check their key fobs or ID or anything. Over Christmas break neither me nor my roomates were there for weeks and somehow they managed to say we went over on our electricity bill which was very weird The subleasing process is very odd. They make you move everything out of the unit, turn in keys and everything, before someone has signed to sublet from you. I asked what would happen if I moved everything out and no one sublets; they replied I’m still bound to my lease. Basically they’re not having the needs of the student in mind-basically want you to move out and take the risk of paying for an empty apartment or having to move everything back in.

One of the worst possible places to live, they have had over 5 managers in the past couple months no one ever seems to know what's going on and nothing ever gets fixed. Not to mention cops are always in and out and somethings Is always catching on fire.my apartment caught fire and management refused to help in any way possible saying they are not obligated leaving me to go broke paying out of pocket for hotels they refuse to reimburse me for anything what's so ever. I went without air conditioning for 6 months because no one in the office can ever answer the phone and get back to me even after repeated phone calls. They need new management and completely new staff do not recommend living here unless u want u car broken into or take the risk of being put out if a place to live because they have no clue what they are doing.
