I've read all the reviews for this company and I decided to use them because my neighbors have all had great success with them. They came out a couple of weeks and gave me a price for the whole year. I paid it in full so I can get a 5% discount. There was some miscommunication between me and the gentleman that came out and when I called the office I told them my concerns. David, who I believe is the owner call me back promptly and told me he would figure it all out. He called me later on in the afternoon resolved all the issues and has me on track for the exact program I want. The miscommunication was not the person's fault that came out. He listened to what I had to say and he was very very informative on the issues I was having with my brand new lawn. I just replaced my front and back lawn from centipede to Zoysia. I had a ton of questions because I have to spending all that money I wanted to make sure I was getting exactly what I needed. I think when I interrupted him writing up the proposal I might have distracted him. Based upon my neighbor's experiences with this company and the one little glitch that we resolved today with no problem or arguments at all, I would highly recommend David and his crew to anyone that needs service. I've only had one service done and every weed that was popping up is gone. Looking forward to a long and healthy relationship

Newest Update. Please read my 300 plus reviews. You will see this is the only business I have ever had to do this with. After dropping these losers my yard is coming back. I now have grass in the areas these losers told me was due to my dogs. And personally, I do not care if the loser owner shared my Nextdoor post. I can also dox people.I was just trying to help others stay away from this poor practice. So Weed Man if you still have an issue before posting my personal info please call me and we can discuss. Update 2023. After missing their tech this morning I called them because my back didnt get treated. I then received a call from their management basically saying it is my fault. Not sure where the customer falls into business anymore. Seems like only the vendor is right now days. They seemed pleased to let my contract end. I would not recommend this service and highly encourage Weed Man to work on its customer service. Blaming a customer is horrible business practice. Now I have a huge dirty spot in my backyard that has been dead since they started and I am stuck with it. Thanks weedman.I am attaching pics of what my yard looks like today. I used to have a beautiful lawn. And don't just take my advice. Go to the Better Business Bureau and see all the complaints there. Most revolve around local management. Earlier the owner berated me on another social media site airing all my information to the world. The franchise should look at what this is causing and fix the issue. I guarantee to continue to warn people of bad businesses. If this owner spent the same amount of time on his business as he does attacking feedback online his business wouldn't suck so bad. You are a winner David.

WEEDMAN....good until they are not....Had them spraying our lawn for almost 2 years. Office was good to work with, they brought the lawn up nice. Then we got some weeds they struggled to get rid of.. We told them we would rather have a few weeds then to keep spraying chemicals turning our lawn yellow to no avail. Then they brought out the big guns even though we asked them to leave them alone. Whatever they spot sprayed KILLED all the grass around the weeds...and guess what, the weeds flourished and grew into the areas of dead grass. Then the pompous owner instead of apologizing said he didn't like us complaining and went on to say what a great job they had done in the past and that they cant change their services for one customer. It was spot spraying on the weeds. They could have just not come...Hired Fairway lawns and saved $40 per application. They do a lot of my neighbors grass and they look great.

I had scheduled 2 appointments with this company for quotes on 2 properties with a guy named Peter. Twice he did not show and did not call. Not being able to make an appointment is forgivable if you call and let them know and ask to reschedule. But to do this twice is not forgivable and quite unprofessional.

Thanks, Paul. As we go through this journey, teamwork and communication will be key. The weeds will come and go, but we believe our controls do a great job at keeping them at bay. Some weeds can be quite persistent and difficult to control once they germinate, but you must have lucked out with your current crop for us to knock them back after the first visit. Now to manage those mole crickets - talk about tough! Let's hope mother nature and the grass's growing environment cooperates to keep the grass as healthy as it can be. David

Josh - our Google reply below is copied and pasted from your Next Door post. Your original Google post 4/2023 was deleted/edited several times. Your contact info has not been shared anywhere. That accusation is a lie.Thank you for the opportunity for a teaching moment for the continuous improvement of our service. You signed up with us in 6/2022. The area in your photo could have been mostly weeds, which our products would eliminate. If there isn’t much viable grass after the weeds are gone, areas may be bare like your photo and grass will slowly grow reach as long as the environment is good for grass. Your 19,000 sqft lawn is also on our basic program, leaving it vulnerable to disease, mole crickets, and grubs. Some lawns never have issues with those threats, while others do occasionally. Shade could be an issue, as well. Often grass off of patios have moisture damage. We had extreme cold in December which could have contributed to decline (as you read about in our 12/23/22 email that you opened at 3:50pm and that we touched on again in the 2/22/23 email that you opened at 7:06pm). If your two dogs use the area often as a bathroom, that could also be a big part of the problem. Grass wants to grow but it has to be happy where it’s trying to grow. When you called this morning, you were specifically concerned that our technician did not ring the bell. You said we needed to improve communication. Here are the avenues of communication we have in place for your lawn: We sent you a text at 11:44am on Thursday, April 6, 2023, the business day before our visit, so you would know that we’re coming. We have a note on your account to knock before starting service. Which we did. Our technician knocked on the front door and while he was on the front porch, your security cameras announced that he was being recorded. After no answer, he went to your gate where next to your gate is a doorbell button. He pressed that button with no answer. When this happens, our protocol is to treat the accessible areas of the lawn and leave a note to call the office to find a time to come back to treat the inaccessible areas of the lawn. He proceeded to treat the front yard. At the point of treatment, he even noted “no answer at door – did not treat backyard.”Your backyard has been inaccessible for three out of the nine visits to your lawn. Besides today, you called the office after your 8/19/22 visit and your 10/18/22 visit for us to come back and treat the backyard due to it being inaccessible. You created this process for your property: knock on the door prior to treatment. This should create success since it’s your process and your property. Maybe this is something you could look at in front of your continuous improvement panel. We had over 30,000 applications to lawns in 2022, so our communication avenues must be working since we rarely have any issues like this.We offer free service calls and would have gladly looked at your area(s) of concern and offer advice for improvement. We’re in business to help lawns be the best that they can be, but you have to let us know when you have concerns so we can be on top of things. There hasn’t been a single service call to your lawn since you signed up, except to go out of our way to come back to treat your back lawn. This was a partnership. With your program, we were only on the lawn every 6-8 weeks. We needed your eyes.At no point was there any hostility in my voice. I stated the above facts and said I felt the technician exhausted his options trying to get in touch with you. ou told another one of our employees that “it’s 2023. You should be able to text when on the way.”We were just doing what you asked. A text message the business day before our visit and a knock on the door before we start. How are we the bad guys? Good luck with your next company. Communication is key. Don’t be mean. It’s easier to be nice. David.PS – heads up, our technician noted possible disease in your lawn today.

Hi Tom, we apologize for the miscommunication. The first appointment that was missed was during Tropical Storm Idalia (Wednesday, 8/30). All employees went home Tuesday night, expecting to work on Wednesday, but when the weather was iffy early Wednesday morning, we decided to keep everyone at home for Wednesday and Thursday. (we wanted to make sure our employees had a chance to secure things around their homes and get things ready for a potential storm). Peter certainly would have phoned you to let you know he wasn't going to make the appointment had he been at the office on Wednesday. As for Labor Day, he wasn't aware the office was closed and accidentally rescheduled your appointment for a day that we weren't working. Our employees don't have access to the customer database when they aren't at the office, so he had no way to contact you over the weekend to let you know we were closed on Monday. We're sorry for the oversight and will use this experience as a teaching tool in the future. Regards, David
