New Home Kitchen & Bath

In October 2014, we hired New Home Kitchen and Bath to completely remodel our upstairs bathroom. The bathroom was circa 1975 and everything needed to be replaced. We visited a few showrooms and got a couple of quotes. Costs were comparable but we hired New Home because we were impressed with Paul Zhang’s enthusiasm and his sincerity about doing a great job for his customers. He also provided more detailed documentation on the agreed upon layout and scope of work so there wouldn’t be any misunderstanding on anyone’s part.
I was a little nervous because the remodel was going to include a new tub. The demo for that certainly wouldn’t be easy, would it? Paul assured us they did this all the time. We discussed options and Paul recommended a high quality acrylic tub. I had also previously laid down new travertine tile on the floor in the bathroom and was afraid I’d need to replace it. Paul said the tile looked nice and he could work around it. He recommended polishing it. This saved me some money! After a trip to his showroom to select wall tile, cabinet and countertop, we were ready to go.
His crew usually consisted of a two man team. They were punctual every day and worked long days. They almost never took a break, except a quick lunch. I’m pretty demanding but their work ethic even impressed me. They were very careful to keep the rest of the house (and outside) clean. We were particularly concerned with our redone staircase and rails and downstairs flooring, but no problems! Oh yeah, the quality of their work was great too!
In 5 days, the job was complete and everything looks like it did in the showroom. The polishing on the old travertine tile made it look like new. There have been a couple of minor post installation issues which Paul personally came out and quickly resolved. We would highly recommend New Home Kitchen and Bath.
