Balster Pediatric Dentistry

My 3 year old had his first visit to the dentist today and it couldnt have gone better. The office girls were friendly and so kind. The huge trust did a good job and gave him choices for the tooth paste. She was patient while he took forever to choose. She showed him how the water squirted worked and switched to a cloth to wipe when the suction scared him. Dr. Blaster was also patient and kind. He was quick and efficient. There was an older boy in the chair next to us and he had a conversation about AP history with him and then came and related well to my three year old. We love this office and we are looking forward to coming back in 6 months

They dont post that only one parent can go in the room with the child, the front desk didnt say anything. Not until the lady came and got my child did she say only one parent can go in. Im a new mom and having to sit in the waiting room while my child is screaming for his mommy was awful. I wouldnt be so upset if I didnt watch them take an entire family, a mom a dad, small child and an older child into the back right before us. Horrible first experience and wont be back. I understand what all the negative comments are about, if your not rich and white they are quite rude to you.

Dr. Beth and her entire staff are absolutely phenomenal. I needed to get an Afghan family's children in for a dental exam and nobody would accept the Medicaid insurance they carried. Dr. Beth went ahead and saw the children and one of them needs quite a bit of work done. We would of been waiting MONTHS to get in with the University. Now, the child will receive the care they need in a timely manner. Dr. Beth's humanity and kindness is a class act that you don't see much of these days. For her, it's not the payment that matters but the payoff in helping others.

Love this dentist and his wife and I admire how they work together in the office. The kids love how he dresses and think his office is the coolest. The kids also loves how he is patient and gentle with them. Hands down the best pediatrician dentist in Iowa.
