The Canine Spa

My dog was a daycare client from 2020 through early 2022. Everything seemed fine for the most part, except for a questionable injury and the owners would constantly nag me for putting a harness on my dog. She slips out of any other collar, her neck is wider than her head. Their aggressive attitude escalated when they placed posters at check-in about the evils of harnesses. After grooming, they tried to scare me by saying my dog could jump off the table and choke herself. I ran that by actual groomers, and they said that's not a thing. My dog had an ACL injury in early 2022, and I had to withdraw her from daycare. I eventually tried to bring her back but was told I needed to have a new assessment. I was annoyed, but I respected that. I set up an appointment, and I missed it. I was very apologetic, and it was unusual for me to do that. I am the guy that follows the rules. They wanted me to use their app to schedule daycare; I did that every time when I knew my friends would just drop off their dogs without warning. I made one mistake, one mistake! I kept trying to reschedule, and nothing, no response. They kept my unused money and ignored me.  I could say more, but they are not worth it. Do not take your dogs here!

Not only is their attitude and professionalism arrogant and a turn off, my friends dog was lost here! They are not nice people and think they know behavior, but all they know is how to repeat what other trainers tell them. Be very weary of a large number of " Nice " reviews after many many negative reviews.

This place is horrible!! The woman with tattoos was very rude and condescending and the gentleman I presume to be the owner just stood there and watched as I was told that my dog should not be on a harness. My dog is has trachea issues and is on the older side and she gave me such a hard time about it telling me I am a terrible pet owner and I need to train my dog. There was a better way to go about it. I will NEVER bring my dog back!!!

Do not take your dog to this place or any of your animals. His place is a joke. People are arrogant rude. They change their price list didn't even tell you they charge my credit card without even asking or had my permission I will be taking this place to Clack Court and I filed a claim with my bank stay away from this place it's a joke if I can give it zero stars I would.

My dog has been going there for about 9 months. All of a sudden they changed their pricing structure and I ended up paying $450 a month if I wanted any kind of deal with consistency. In Aug 26th they charged my debit card for the month of September without my permission. I told them I needed to stop bringing my dog because I was no longer working. Their response: too bad, there's a 30 day notice you needed to give us. They refused to give me any kind of refund.The 30 day policy is posted NOWHERE and I never gave them permission to charge my card. Small claims court would cost $270 so not worth it. Maybe bad social media will have so e kind of effect.
