This facility is a hostile work environment, they do different things when state is in the building versus state is not in the building. Such as leaving the dirty utility room door open when state is not in the building, and specifically telling us that we had to have it closed when we were being surveyed by the state. The final straw for me was being required to work Covid patients without them providing proper PPE specifically no face shields. I had multiple residents complain to me that they felt like once they got marked as having Covid they got less care and people avoided coming in their rooms. One patient was waiting over an hour on the commode. Another had been waiting for cough drops since 9 AM and it was 8 PM. I personally was working 16 of those hours and had requested the cough drops from the dayshift nurse at 9am and then again from the pm shift nurse. They also allow Covid positive visitors to come in and walk amongst the building without requiring them to wear facemasks. I had residents want to eat in the dining room And had to wait over 45 minutes for their food to come out on the hall cart while they served assisted living after skilled dining room. It was so sad, as they had to watch everyone else in the dining room eat. Its sad that what looks like a nice facility is actually pretty terrible behind-the-scenes .

This place is so terribly short staffed. Beware if you or your very important person needs help, they would be better off using their cell phone and calling 911. At least they come and quickly. The BLINKING LIGHT ABOVE THE DOORWAY GETS THE PATIENT LESS THAN NOTHING MOST OF THE TIME. I STRONGLY BELIEVE WHAT I AM SAYING AND THE ONLY WAY YOUR PRECIOUS WIFE OR HUSBAND WILL BE CARED FOR IS IF YOU NEVER EVER LEAVE THEM ALONE AT THIS PLACE. YOU STAY THERE OR SOMEONE OF YOUR FAMILY TO BE SURE THAT YOUR PRECIOUS PERSON IS CARED FOR AND NOT "FOUND ON THE FLOOR."

I stayed there for 2 weeks. Food was acceptable. Conditions were clean. Fair response to help calls during the day, slow at night. Outstanding problem with medication distribution. You'll have to stay on top of what you should be getting. They don't always dispense what you're supposed to be taking. People were nice.

When I stayed here for rehab in the past, I found it to be very strained for services & somewhat short on nurses aids. When we rang the bell to get an attendant, it may take up to an hour to get someone to stop & not just walk past the door. I shared a room with another person & were not allowed to toilet ourselves, yet our light was ignored! I certainly hope this practice has changed. I am adding this note. The food was of fair to poor quality with canned peaches being desert more often than necessary. There were no choices for patients! I hope the quality has improved. Owners need to weed out the lesser qualified attendants. I watched a male attendant sneak into our room, middle of the night, and head towards the bed of a 90 yr old woman who was sleeping soundly. The person had no reason to come into our room & when I asked why he was there he made an excuse & quickly left. I do know that this particular male attedant gave off some very bad vibrations & many women were suspicious of him. I did make a report to management! Hopefully he won't be there anymore!
