I have had this insurance for over 14 years. It works fine when you don't have to make a claim. I just recently had to make a claim and I'm still going through the process and it's the biggest nightmare I've ever encountered.
First off when the police officer had my card information I called the office so I can get the number for claims but I got sent to a voicemail because they were too busy.
Then while calling the office again hoping to speak with a human and not a voicemail I got a call from the office because obviously there's a lack of communication there. These calls continued while I was on the phone with claims apparently nobody communicated that they had already spoken with me and transferred me to claims.
The first claims person seemed understanding and explained many things. It went downhill from there. I got a second call from another claims person stating that everything that she said was inaccurate that my tow could not be towed to my house. Instead,I would have to pay another fee. I asked what the fee was then he said it was water under the bridge and that they would tow to my house. I was told by the agents to leave my keys in the car and my car open because my car would be towed ASAP. After about at least six calls and my car being told that it wasn't picked up, it was picked up, it would be there in 30 minutes, it hadn't been located and asked what color it was my car arrived at my house over 9 hours later. I was told there was nothing they could do because they use a third party but don't they choose the third party to work with and shouldn't they hold them accountable?
I then set up a rental car in which they were using a third-party again and was told that they cannot do the drop off at my house that they guaranteed because they didn't have enough staff. I was then told that they could come pick me up from work while I'm working so they could give me the car and I can drive them back.
When calling the agent office to discuss this and stating that I would cancel they said sure just let us know where to send the papers when the claim is done. There is no customer loyalty. I'm just a drop in the bucket. I would rather use a more expensive insurance if it meant I received actual customer service. I will be done with this service as soon as my claim is done.
I have also yet to receive the call from a supervisor from the claims department as promised. I also have never spoken with my agent in all of this either. I'm not sure what I've paid for because there is no customer service here.

Every month I get a new total and the price is always higher than I expected. I make changes and deductions and somehow the price goes right back up.
