Absolute best paintball experience i have had all season. Easy on the wallet, friendly staff, very organized, split down games so that teams were not too large, and over all wonderful experience. If i could give it ten stars i would.

I’ve been coming here for over 3 years. Last year was one of my favorite paintball seasons. This year however has not been as much fun. The biggest issue for me is the new ref Joey. On multiple occasions over the past 2 weeks Ive seen him get in arguments with players over his ability to ref and call fairly. Joey pretty much stays in one spot and hops around only checking shots when people ask for a paint check. The problem might be we have ONE ref for a 15 v 15 open play game THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE DAY but I’ve seen solo refs do a much better job and they were doing so last weekend when we were lucky enough to get one. Joey however seems to just want to mingle in the parking lots between games and god on knows what’s else he is doing as he always seems to be on cloud nine before each game and totally spaced out. He reffed over 50% of the games last weekend and I heard multiple people complaining about his reffing ability. Joey needs to be taught to do his job as we pay good money to come out and have fun. Last weekend was not fun at all for open play as all the good refs who have been there for a while we’re off with private parties or with the beginners. Badlandz should not be hiring a zero experience ref to SOLO ref intermediate games. The amount of wiping and arguing throughout the games last weekend was absurd. If something doesn’t change I will be looking into a different field to play at.
