    They've left me on hold, and then hung up on me 3 times. Trying to get service restored for my disabled veteran father who needs the electric. Great work on that customer service.

    When I just called to report the local power outage I was connected to a person whom spoke English, but very poorly. I needed to ask for questions to be repeated often. The person, not sure which gender, asked what I felt were not impertonate questions. Questions pertaining to our account, last digits of s.s. number, etc. When I stated that I do not understand how that is important to reporting a power outage, I was hung up on/disconnected. Very poor business standards.

    There was a problem with their overhead ground wire. I had to call them to have them shut my power off (so that stray 220 voltage running rapidly thru my home did not burn it down). They came and removed the meter, and left. A month later a rep from their company called to ask how I was doing. When I told him my story he apologized and said they would send someone out to check things. 2 days later I came home from an outing to to fi d 3 consumers energy trucks in my driveway, and the power turned back o . The foreman admitted that the fault was theirs. After a mo th without power. They sent me a check for $500 for my trouble. Their stray voltage ruined everything in my home, including washer, dryer, furnace, and other smaller appliances. $500 doesn't even.co.e close to what their negligence destroyed. I could go on, but thats enough for one day.
