Axis Gymnastics & Sports Academy

We were not impressed with the class for toddlers. Enrolled my daughter here to pick up where we left off at her former gymnastics class where we previously lived (they taught the kids forward and backward rolls, basic balance beam techniques, bars, etc) and this was more along the lines of just letting the kids get their energy out. The instructor was nice but the curriculum was lacking. When I asked if there was another class that she could take to challenge her more, I was told that they could ask the owner of the gym to see if my daughter would be able to take private lessons or be a part of the competition team if thats what she wants to do Ummmm, shes 3 years old. Its not about competing at this age but she does need to keep progressing and learning the basic techniques she has already learned and I was shocked to learn that they dont offer group classes like that for her age here. If you are looking for a place to drop your toddler off for a while to burn some energy, this place is fine. If you are looking for a gymnastics facility where your toddler can begin to hone basic gymnastics skills, I would look elsewhere.
