Unprofessional and lazy. Doesn't pay attention to simple tasks. Many simple errors which cost us 1,000s of dollars in damage. Rude, and knows YOU are the one who has to deal with it ultimately - not him. Be wary.

My father recently worked with this firm, and it is the most unprofessional experience we have ever had, and charges more than the average for it! James Reilly is unorganized, does not communicate well (even email is an issue) and we are now receiving letters from the IRS due to his errors. The only way you will be happy with him is if you are completely ignorant of tax code and don't find his errors (and neither does the IRS). Ignorance is bliss - til the IRS comes knocking with penalties or audits. This is a headache that can even pop up years later when you don't expect it. Remember, accountants are not generally liable for their mistakes - YOU ARE. This has been a huge hassle for our family and business. We are going with tax software in the future like HR block and turbo tax. Many have additional audit protection, find all the possible tax breaks for you automatically, and are much more reliable an accurate. Our experience with this firm? No value, all hassle.

Have appreciated & utilized the offered services for tax preparation & filing for a very many years now (for both personal, as well as business). They are always willing to discuss, explain, answer questions and communicate clearly all information. Costs are reasonable & I rest assured knowing everything is handled thoroughly & accurately.
