Polaris Rehabilitation and Care Center

If you love your family DO NOT send them here! They DID NOT take care of my dad. They left him in his room all day alone. They would hardly even check on him. I never seen any othe residents anywhere! But the staff would flirt with each other and they even had a egg hunt for the staff, yes you read that right, the staff NOT the residents! Then when we said we wanted to move our dad they said that we couldn't! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. THEY JUST WANT THEIR MONEY BUT THEY WILL NEGLECT YOUR LOVED ONES!

This facility won't answer calls from you after 5:00.p.m. so if you need your speak to your loved one..your out of luck. Mobile cell hang up on you. Bad communication.

So first off I want to say I've been a resident of Cheyenne my whole life and I have known the building before it became Polaris and was devastated that my family member was moved over there but once I got over there I could see all the changes the staff were very nice they're very informative they care about their residents things are clean it's a complete 180 from things that I've known from being a long time resident of cheyenne. With that said the rooms are a little older and could use some remodeling but other than that it's been a very nice experience dealing with the Polaris in my family member I would recommend this place. The staff are very friendly willing to help and come up with problem solving and keep you informed. They make sure that the rooms are clean and if somebody doesn't get along for some reason with their roommate or something just doesn't match they are willing to move things around their meals are great my mom would not eat anything over at another rehab center and she says the meals are the best she's had over at Polaris once again like I said as of right now I've had nothing but positive experiences with the place and I would recommend this for somebody else's family member now that it has new ownership. You can see the pride in the staff and in the way places taken care of and on the residences faces.
