        I always receive pretty arrangements from The Prairie Rose, but the one I got this week was my favorite ever and absolutely gorgeous!!! I love their unique designs and they always have fresh, beautiful flowers. If you are ordering from out of town, I cant recommend asking for designers choice highly enough because then they can use their creativity when making your arrangement and they aren't tied to a stale internet design. Heather and her staff are always friendly and helpful as well!

        Eh..I spent 84 bucks on probably at solid set of 20 dollar flowersthey were helpful & nice people. I try to support local businesses as much as possible. The delivery was around 3:30 in the afternoon - still was charged delivery & made sure the person was around all day for their surprise.they stepped out to pick up their kid & missed delivery. Had to go pick them up themselves. Not the shops fault but for nearly 100 bucks for 3 roses & a few other flowers.wont use them again.

        I have been a professional florist for 40 years, I needed help getting 4 bunches of flowers for my cousin funeral. Professional florists always help each other, by getting flowers at cost , plus. 20% or free. The owner charged me over 3 times the wholesale cost. Not very professional, or helpful. Went to Kings Supermarket and got 20 bunches for the same cost. Thanks Maryann, you are a credit to the flower family. Terry Wagner

      Hi Kevin, Our business hours are 8am-6pm Mon-Fri, 9-4 Saturday and 1-4 Sunday. We run deliveries all day long. If you prefer a certain delivery window you just have to let us know and we will accommodate. We're also happy to discuss any order issues during business hours rather than hashing them out in a review format after hours.If the recipient is not home we certainly do redeliver but some people prefer to pick up themselves rather than coordinate a redelivery time.As for the cost of the arrangement, the $84 total included taxes and delivery as well as the flowers. Flowers just like everything else have increased dramatically in recent years. As it states on our website where you placed your order, the best value is always going to be a designers choice arrangement rather than one of the preset options. We realize sticker shock is real, but we couldn't make this arrangement for $20 even at cost

      Mr Wagner, it's unclear why as someone who does not have an established relationship with our shop you would expect to be given flowers at cost, especially after saying you were not looking for wholesale pricing when placing your order. It's also unclear why a professional florist doesn't have their own wholesale accounts. If the price was not to your liking there was no need to take the flowers. Undoubtedly grocery store flowers are cheaper, many times retailing for less than what we pay wholesale for a small business like our shop.
