Joni Clare Music & Alexander Technique Studio

Had an Alexander Technique session with Joni. She brought awareness to the way I was move and helped me to better understand ways to improve my posture. A month later I feel less tension in my neck and shoulder blades. She is an excellent teacher, would highly recommend!

Singing and performing by myself publicly started out as one of the most frightening things I could think of and I could not have done it without Joni. She worked patiently with me to build my confidence and skill. I continue to use the knowledge from my lessons today. I am glad I finally pulled the trigger on a few sessions with Joni! We worked on breath, talked about several qualities of voice I hadn't considered but were very useful, and did some Alexander technique--something that would be great as a long-term practice. Joni has an openness and smiling inclusivity that makes it easy to try new things and flail as needed until you understand the tools you're working with (your own body)!

I'm 60 years old and wondering if I could sing, so I gathered all my courage and gave Joni a call. It was very easy to get started and I felt comfortable right from the start. And guess what I learned, I can sing! Soon after I had my son taking vocal lessons also. I highly recommend Mount Tabor Music School for anyone.
