We engaged Jorndt Fahey to build our dream home, ultimately where we would retire. To complicate the building process, we were living in another state. Dan made the distance a non-issue and was great to work with. Frequent calls, pictures, regular visits to the architect when we were in town as well as the build site, and Dan was always there. Their work was first class and of the highest quality. The integrity that this firm demonstrated to us through the process was truly impressive. So much so that we have recommended them to others. If we decide to build again (or remodel) we will engage Jorndt Fahey without a doubt.

We moved into our new home in May. the experience of building with Jorndt Fahey was wonderful. Brian was a joy to work with and offered some great design ideas and solutions for ideas that we had. He was always positive even with some of our more challenging ideas for "on the fly" changes. Couldn't be happier with the overall experience and the final product.

Did not put vents or drainage in cold storage with upper deck room. Had to do a complete tear out at our cost because the 1-year builder warranty was up. Began tear out without giving an estimate of cost or time or new contract. Knicked electrical line during tear out and didn’t notice. Then sent invoice that they “forgot” to send from the original construction 3 years prior. Sent invoice and estimate for tear out mid-job and only because I demanded it. JF wanted to only talk to my father, who’s mental capacity was diminished by brain cancer. Went with other builders in the end to fix JF’s mistakes of which more pop-up regularly. If you are going to use these guys, get a 5-Year warranty and be prepared to have to stay on top of them and their workers. Update: After hiring new companies to finish the jobs Jornt Fahey couldn’t complete in the first place (companies whose bids were thousands of dollars less and communication was honest, timely, forthright, and transparent), JF decides to reach out via text to my Mother. This is after I thought we were finished with any business with JF and moving on. This is after I made it clear to JF that I need to be present for any conversation with my Mother. All of this is in writing. Several times. They were concerned about the Google review above. So they talked to my 74-yr-old Mom to convince her it’s effecting their livelihood. My Mother has never heard of a “Google review” and is THE sweetest person ever-but JF was more concerned about a Google review instead of fixing the mistake they made in the first place and presenting an undated (except a vague “2018-2019”) bill on top of it for past work that my parents couldn’t remember. Now, my dementia affected Dad and my confused Mom as well as siblings who live in different States are all confused and angry, just in time for Christmas. This is Jornt Fahey.
