Dear Wpb729,I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express our sincere apologies for the disappointing experience you encountered during your recent stay at our hotel. I would like to clarify a few items as there appears to have been some confusion. The hotel is currently fully staffed and has been for some time. We do not however provide 24 hour housekeeping or 24 hour maintenance, as we are a select service hotel and operate as such. Moreover, the standard for our brand is for occupied guest rooms to be serviced every other day. Being that you were not in house more than two days, your room would not have been serviced unless you specifically requested it to be. Our guest safety and security is our top priority. The "feral teenagers" you say you saw throughout the hotel were unaccompanied minors, attempting to have a party, something our hotel does not permit. The staff correctly identified the breach of hotel policy and potential for those guests to cause a disturbance to others, and after refusing to leave on their own accord, police were called to have them removed from the property before they could cause further inconvenience to other guests. We typically only have one breakfast attendant, however on the weekends because we have more families visiting, we always staff at least two breakfast attendants. On this particular weekend, you say there were no breakfast staff, we actually had three attendants staffed as we were also training a new associate in order to be prepared for a busy upcoming summer season. Our hotel is not new, and there are some condition challenges we face however we have invested heavily in new linens over the last three months and have no desire or need to use anything that might be torn or tattered. Furthermore, we also have an extensive preventative maintenance program and an amazing maintenance team that do a great job of making sure everything meets our standards. Because we go the extra mile for our guests, we even have an extensive renovation planned in the near future which will no doubt provide a welcome update to our guest rooms and public areas. Your comfort and satisfaction are paramount to us, and it saddens us to learn that we did not meet your expectations. We deeply regret any inconvenience or dissatisfaction you experienced during your time with us if you genuinely had a poor experience. Please know that we take your feedback and the potential for there to be scammers merely looking to cause harm or seek compensation to avoid paying seriously, and we are actively addressing the issues you encountered.
