New to the state of Wisconsin, child accepted in school near WGBTL. Initial move-in the model/pictures versus reality is deceptive. My unit was not clean, dog hair, tobacco residue on bathroom walls and Appliance extremely outdated. An overpriced 1bedroom, with utilities roughly $150-$200 during cold months. This is with me working full time. No ones home between 8-5p on average. My apartment has flooded. Has Rodent issue outside our patio. Bathroom light flickered for months before we finally resolved. Car was towed $356, office failed to give parking permit. At one point, I scheduled a meeting, showed up and office was closed. Tried to follow up to reschedule but no response. I will say the new office manager has been better at responding. If I knew more about surrounding area I wouldve broke my lease long time ago!

Ive lived here for 4 months now, and initially was a little worried due to some negative reviews on here. However, after living here I think I can conclude most bad reviews belong to people who arent capable of following rules, or having patience. Shortly after moving in, guest parking was taken away(guests can park by the office only now), due to limited parking for tenants. This is completely understandable and implemented by a lot of apartments in the area. Tow trucks also patrol looking for cars without a parking permit sticker to ensure tenants have a place to park. Again, many local apartments do this too. Those upset at getting towed have no right to be. Management is SUPER communicative. We received numerous texts, emails, and notices taped to our doors reminding us of the parking and towing rules. Not following them and getting towed, well actions have consequences. Speaking of management, the workers are always super nice and helpful. I mainly worked with Nicole in getting my lease and upon move in, and shes a great worker. Maintenance has fixed any issues Ive requested, typically within 24 hours depending on when the request was issued. All the maintenance workers Ive encountered have been very nice and pleasant too. I know they sometimes have to prioritize work orders, and again thats typical and understandable. In terms of cost of rent, I feel for what Im paying is very fair for the size of the unit and amenities. I would argue its one of the cheaper places to live in Waukesha, without sacrificing safety and comfort. I have a feeling rent will go up at lease renewal, but you cant escape that anywhere these days, and I wont fault them for it. In summary, follow the rules and you will really enjoy living here!
