        Was nice and clean. Had a nice bird bedspread on the bed. The heater worked good. Didn't like that there wasn't any conditioner, only shampoo. Liked that there was a mini fridge and microwave. The lady answered the phone quickly and took payment over the phone. Was very friendly. Had the room open for us when we got there, minutes after calling.

        This is a wonderful reminder of the locally owned motels of the pre-interstate Era before the chains crowded out so many motels. Clean and neat, everything on a ground floor and good internet. No fancy breakfast, but fruit and pastries and GOOD COFFEE in the lobby in the morning. Highly recommend!!

        This is the best place to stay while exploring the Driftless region. When it comes to hospitality, details matter and the staff at the Hickory Hill provide an extremely clean and welcoming environment. I will definitely be back my next time traveling through Viroqua.

        Arrived by motorcycle. Greeted at the door and everything was set for us even though we were early. The twins were very gracious. We will be back.
