Today I had the best news my American Family Insurance Agent could give me. Last week, on my monthly payday, I discovered that my checking account had been hacked and I was also $500.00 in the hole. Not one of my bills were paid !!! I've been sinking slowly since my husband passed away in September of 2021. The last 3 months have been the worst. My little brother,who lived with me for approximately 3 years and helped keep my appointments and bills straight, ended up dying, rather suddenly. Leaving me to process not only his death but also my husband's. It's been fun times in the Holtet residence. Two days before the bank discovery, the plumber left my gate open and the dog that still waits for my husband to come home, got hit by a car. His shoulder is torn up so bad that he needs orthopedic surgery. (I have no clue how on earth that can happen.) Anyhow, back to the best news. My insurance agent called and told me they would be able to hold my payment over until next month. It definite ly put a ray of sunshine in my day. Sorry for running on and making a mess of the end of the page.
