Dr Watchmaker is a honest Dr, his recommendation was a welcome change and relief. After I exhausted the use of steroids to help my trigger finger, I had trigger finger surgery on 4 fingers at the UW on 12/22/22. The recovery was worse than spinal surgery. I had excessive amount of swelling and tenderness. I called for OT therapy and the OT told me she suspected that there was still a problem. I went back to the PA, I went to surgeon, she said there was nothing more they could do for me. I was not eligible for any steroid injections. I had several OT appointment. I purchased a wax warming unit for my hands. My fingers began to lock straight and the pain began to travel up my arm. In January of 24 I saw a Dr at Orthopedic Spine Center in Madison. He gave me 5 more steroid injections. He suggested the last resource for me was more surgery to correct the surgery I had. A friend of ours who had Dr Watchmaker correct their carpal tunnel surgery, recommended him to us. Dr Watchmaker's office requested my hand history and treatment records. The Dr reviewed my records prior to my appointment. Which I think is awesome! Dr Watchmaker met me in the exam room, with all my files in hand, marked with post it notes. Dr Watchmaker examined my hands. He determined, I have surpassed the recommended # of steroid injections which is 2. My recovery was slow due to having 4 fingers corrected at once, he has learned 2 or more at once, is a stress on the recovery. He did say my trigger finger surgery was successful. NO MORE SURGERY. Dr Watchmaker recommended an appliance to be worn on my fingers, to assist my fingers that struggle to bend. I was very pleased with the whole process. He recommended some blood work to rule out any underlying issues. I found his staff to be very friendly and great, His staff is a mix of male and female personnel. He has a male receptionist and a male nurse and a male OT, all very polished and trained. Follow the directions to find his beautiful office on the brochure they send to you, it is a bit of a treasure hunt to find his building. This is not a paid review, haha, I was very happy with my visit.

Dr. Watchmaker and his staff are rock stars...I am working here from out of town, and they got me in early on a day they were fully booked, which was the only day I could come, and gave me superb care...He is truly a hand expert, and my problems were nearly resolved by the time I left there...Cannot be more appreciative or more highly recommend them...
