As of June 2022 looks like new mulch and new sand in sandbox. Also very clean this visit. Went to fly a kite with the kids in the big open area.

This is a hidden gem! We recently moved to Sussex near Sussex Bowl and we went for a walk one day and came upon this park. The kids ask to go there all the time now! The playground is really nice, there's a swing set and slides and monkey bars etc. There's a lot of grassy area for dogs to run around too. A little stream runs through the back of the park but you have to walk through tall grass to get to it, and the water is pretty gross. We went there this evening and there was a pile of soda cans and garbage on the ground under the playground, so we threw it away but otherwise it's usually very clean! There's a big sandbox as well. It's on a dead end so it may be hard to find if you aren't aware of it. We would recommend it for kids age 3+!
