we got there and the property manager said we couldn't stay because i wasn't over the age of 21. i am 19 and my fianc is 22. we've stayed at many different hotels together and never came across this issue. when we tried to work with the manager she said it was in the policy but NO WHERE on the website or in the building was a policy stating that. when we asked to see the policy she printed it out but refused to show it to us. she said she was refusing us service because she didn't show us the policy when we asked to see it. the way she handled the situation was way out of control. she called the cops on us because we were understandably upset that we drove 8 hours and couldn't even stay in the motel. and called me underage and said i was not an adult because i can't buy cigarettes or alcohol. which makes no sense. she locked the window and called the cops on me and my fianc. she was also looking in all the windows of the motel, she stated that we are permanently banned from their 8 location because she refused us service. over all a terrible experience. when we asked to get our refund she said she doesn't do refunds at all so i had to get a hold of an Expedia agent and after the agent contacted the property she gave us our refund. our money is still on hold for another two weeks. We had to go back home from our trip to visit family and friends because of this.
