        I had power steering fluid that made a mess under the hood of my honda. I told them I just did the brakes and I noticed this. I dropped off my car and the next day they got back to me. They told me that I needed a rack and pinion and a power steering pump which was going to be just shy of $2000. I said I had to think about it and I got my car back. I took my car to another shop and he looked at it. He told me there is NOTHING WRONG with my car at all. He said that the fluid came out of the reservoir tank when I moved my wheels manually when doing the brakes. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!

      Hi Aaron, Yes we seen your 2005 Honda for an oil change and a power steering fluid leak. You were very right you do have a leak, actually you have two power steering fluid leaks. What we found was both boots on the powersteering rack and pinion had fluid in them. This is why we recommended a Rack and Pinion. We did also confirm the reservoir was bubbling over with fluid. Our tech was concerned that the P/S Pump may also be going out- due to the whining noise coming from it. The quote you are referring to is the worse case scenario- Rack & Pinion, P/S pump, P/S fluid flush, alignment, labor, and tax. We try to be clear and transparent with all of our customers that is why we send digital vehicle inspection with photos to our customers.

      Josh it is unfortunate you judged a book on someone elses gossip. I (Amanda the Service Manager) have been with Northview for over 4 1/2 years. The Northview staff and their amazing customers have been nothing short of great to me, hence why I drive an hour one way to work here. The only reason I am leaving is due to my family is moving to Iowa to open our own business. Sorry we were not a right fit for each other but, in our shop we base everything on facts, going to the source with question or concerns, and proud to say we are a drama free shop. We do wish you the best of luck in your endeavors!
