        This place is a joke they don't return phone calls and screw people I've seen them screw over at least 5 people

        Got evicted cause of this company. They said they could help me and my family. However they didn't get back to us for a year and a half just to say they ran out of emergency funding this didn't just happen to my family but 15 other families in the same apartment complex. Do not expect this company to help you.

      Unfortunately there is much more need in our community than there are resources. Please apply. The only way you will be able to possibly get assistance is if you go through the process.

      The WERA program recieved a large number of applications which generated a waitlist. At its longest, wait time was less than 4 months between application and case managers reaching out to process applications. We cannot speak to case specifics, however as with all of our programs, there are a number of eligiblity criteria that we must follow in order to provide assistance. Unfortunately, this program has been closed to new rental assistance applications since the end of January. Lakeshore CAP strives to process applications as quickly as possible and assist those that are eligible. The growing need for housing assistance has increased and available assistance has decreased.
