We will recommend American Door to everyone needing door service or a new install. You guys went above and beyond for Rick and as a Veteran of 40 years you made him feel very proud of his service to our country. You guys are awesome!! Thank you!!

        BEWARE. Terrible customer service. Didnt install properly when they first installed- the eyes wouldnt go off if someone ran under it (ie my two toddlers), charged me to fix it and then tried to tell me that they wouldnt have been responsible if there was an accident. Just to be harassed about payment when called on another issue. Would not recommend to anyone. Will not work with again.

        Called to have a banging on our garage door checked. Two guys came for 15 minutes, pulled on door and left. Banging fixed but then got a bill for $150. Was never told this charge, thought estimates were free. Called the business and got nowhere. Would have been nice to know all this before anyone came to decide if it's something we could live with. Won't use this business again

        I asked Tom, the salesman, if it were possible I could get a patch job with new springs and struts. He said no I would need a new door. He said patching the door would not work. At nearly $3000, I decided to fix the door myself with new springs and struts. I saved $2,500 and the door now works great. Don't believe everything a salesman tells you. Get a second opinion when they tell you the only option is a new door.

        we had a torsion spring break and American Door had it repaired and all lubricated before 10am the next morning! Karen replied to email right away in the morning and set up appt. Service man was on time, professional, and so helpful. Many thanks for such great service!

      Jenna, we're sorry that you did not have a positive experience.Regarding the loose wire/eyes issue, we looked into the history of this issue after receiving your complaint, and we did not install it incorrectly because it was another company, R. H. Fischer Overhead Door, that did the original installation. On the service call, our team was able to clean the corroded wires, and our technicians did not leave your home until they confirmed everything worked.When we received your call in early December to help program your remote, we would have been happy to help you; however, we can't start another service with you until your account has been paid in full. Unfortunately, your account had an unpaid bill that was 30 days past due, and we're unable to start another service for you until that bill is paid. While our phone call was cut short, we would be happy to get you the phone number to LiftMaster so you can call the manufacturer directly.       Barb, we're sorry you didn't have a positive experience working with us.When we spoke with you on the phone, we noted that you didn't inquire about a free estimate; therefore, we charge our regular rate of $150 for a service call (up to 1 hour of work).When our technicians arrived at your home, they were able to determine the source of the banging noise, which was that the bottom section of your door was bent. Once our technicians knew the source of the noise, they were able to bend and straighten the section back into place, which stopped the banging noise altogether.If you have any other questions, we'd be happy to discuss this issue further.
