Tried the pub again after some time away to see if it had gotten better. We are locals so we try to patron our local businesses. Food was not great, just so so. Prices are high for lunch. They did have a few lunch specials like popcorn shrimp for $6 but if you wanted fries with that it was $2 more. Tried the roasted carrot soup which was extremely disappointing. Super salty. Ordered the pub special sandwich which was a french dip. That was okay. The chicken sandwich melt was horrible as the grilled bread was so soggy it was falling apart. The fries were small little pieces like they had dumped out the last of the bag. They no longer have the soup and salad bar. That was about the only thing they had going for them and now that's gone. Three people for lunch, spent $44.00, not including tip and all had water to drink. The service was fine. It will be a while until we return if we do.

Very nice wait staff. Took too long for food to arrive even though the restaurant was mostly empty. Deep fried haddock was greasy and flavorless. I couldnt eat it.

Having dined frequently at the Pub, but not for over a year, my wife and I chose to go for our weekly fish fry there. We were seated within 10 minutes of arrival and our order was taken soon thereafter. We love the quiet atmosphere which had not changed. Salad bar had a reasonable variety with an excellent French dressing. The scallop chowder was fantastic. We were disappointed they no longer offered lightly breaded haddock, soon to have the disappointment confirmed. Although the sweet potato fries met our high expectations, the deep fried haddock was tasteless. The breading was soggy and greasy. I typically "clean my plate", however, I only ate one of the three pieces. We agreed as we left that we will choose to go elsewhere on Fridays.
