I had the pleasure of working with Kat at Fairwinds Canvas in October of 2022. They helped me with designing, building, and mounting a bimini and dodger on my Jeanneau 40.3. Kat was very professional and clearly know what she was talking about! After asking me a few questions, taking a few measurements, and after I shared a few thoughts on the final design they went to work. In one week they produced the frames and covers and the result was really good. I highly recommend them for any canvas or frame work!

I have been a customer of Fairwinds Canvas for 21 years & had "Kat" (the owner) do custom canvas fabrication on (3) of my boats.  When trying to find a custom service that does Boat Canvas craftwork, one can search & shop by price alone, but I made that mistake with the a different local canvas shop prior to finding Fairwinds Canvas.  Boat canvas's are subject to sun, rain & wind all which take their toll on the canvas.  A snug fit with sound construction made out of the right materials is KEY to a product that lasts.   I have referred other Boaters to Fairwinds & they ALL have had the same satisfying results that I have had.  Once  you contact Fairwinds you will see for yourself as the work is completed in her very capable shop by Kat & her very experienced staff.  I also value the customer focus that ALL of her staff has before, during & after the canvas work is completed.  I simply will not go anywhere else as I TRUST Kat with ALL of my canvas work. We originally contacted 5 different companies for quotes for a dodger for our 1974 C&C 30 sailboat. To date we have heard from exactly 1 of those 5, and that's Fairwinds. Our boat doesn't have much room under the boom, so Kat had to take that into account when designing our custom dodger. For a little extra she also made a new sail cover that doesn't drag on the dodger causing chaff. Originally we were told that it wouldn't be done until mid July, but due to some delays on other projects ours was completed about a month early. The crafting is top notch as is the customer service. Pricing seems to be comparable, but honestly I don't know for sure since no one else deemed to answer our inquiry. We are extremely pleased with the total package and can't sing the praises of Fairwinds Canvas any higher!! Love their products!!

I used Fairwinds to replace the canvas on the Sea Ray 370. All I can say is wow - a beautiful job. Kathryn was a joy to work with and I would highly recommend her.
