Simon and John P. were both incredibly helpful during my recent inquiries about my sump pump and drain tile. They answered all my questions thoroughly, ensuring I understood exactly how my system works. Couldn't be happier. In the middle of a weeks worth of rain, my sump pump started making a strange noise and half the water going out was draining back into the crock. I called late Tuesday and was able to have someone come out the next day. I believe my techs name was Ray. He was so helpful and explained the problem and advised me on what to purchase and hook up for next winter. Since I was already paying for a service call, I broke out my "honey do" list of small things (which we all know are never really small and turn into projects) that have been driving me nuts for years. He was done in 2 hours and the cost was way less than what I had anticipated. Should have done this long ago. Sooooo happy.

We had a very unfortunate situation with this company. Our power went out in part of our house and I called Building Waters. Sharon (i think her name was) on phone was very polite but extremely vague on the charges that would be brought up. She told me there was a base rate for a minimum of an hour for a truck to come out (not per person coming out) and told me someone was going to be done with a job soon. I agreed to the base rate thinking it wasn't dependent on per person. The truck arrived and two people showed up which I didn't expect. They were very polite and thorough with their work but couldn't pinpoint exactly what the issue was, but in the end they ultimately fixed my problem. Before the gentlemen left they said they needed to collect payment which was not communicated beforehand whilst speaking with Sharon earlier. I was told that I owed double what I was anticipating to pay for and refused to pay in person due to the severity of the issue. One of the electricians had Sharon call me and we discussed the issue. At the end of the day she did amend the problem and reduced the price to what I originally thought. Beware though that they may lack communication and stick it to you later on!

We love this company. They show up when you call, they know what they are doing, and they leave the job site better than how they found it. If they just did one, show up when you call, we would be pleased. Great Racine Company!
