Harvest Moon Pond Wedding & Event Venue

My wife and I own a photography business and have been shooting weddings at HMP for quite some time. It is definitely our favorite barn venue to work at as it photographs so cleanly inside. The grounds are also beautiful and offer so many photo opportunities. Since taking over ownership, Stephanie and Brian have consistently looked for ways to improve the property. It is obvious that they truly care and strive to make all of their couple's wedding days the best they possibly can be.

Fabulous location, truly Pinterest perfect venue. The barn and grounds were fabulous for mingling, photo ops, etc. Be aware of hidden fees dont let your event end on a sour note like ours due to hidden cleaning fees. It was so disappointing to hear the venue wasnt cooperative at the reception. Not the way to end a beautiful event with a family and friends. If the venue didnt list no hidden fees so much, and post event cleaning included the couple deserves a refund or not to be charged.And an apology.

I got married at Harvest Moon Pond in October of 2023. I knew that I wanted to get married in a barn - I didnt care what season. I had looked at a few barns in the area but HMP stuck out to me so we went to tour. Halfway through the tour I remember turning to my now husband and saying "this is it. I want to get married here" and gave the look to my dad (the wallet). I didnt need to look anywhere else because this place was perfect. It had the willows, the gorgeous main level, an impressive bar area and a lovely outdoor patio. I was in love. Flash forward to the planning process. I had NO idea who I wanted to use for food, if I wanted a wedding planner, etc. HMP curated an extremely helpful list of vendors they have worked with before and loved. Im pretty sure most of our vendors ended up being from their recommendation. Not to mention their comprehensive planning guide. It was god sent and included everything I needed to successfully pull off the biggest day of my life. Stephanie, Brian and Mackenzie are definitely a team unlike any other. Beyond helpful, insanely knowledgeable and they treat you like family from the minute you step through the doors of the barn. The day of went by so fast ( just like everyone says it does ). The staff was incredible. Our clean up crew, the bar staff, the core 3 I mentioned earlier - everyone was on their A game. They would constantly check in to see how I was, if they could do anything, etc. I felt very taken care of. Overall, I could not be happier with our choice in venue. Our guests still talk to us about how gorgeous it was!! The staff, the vibes, the property and the experience will forever stay in our memories. I cannot thank them enough. Highly recommend this venue!

Where to start! :) This venue by far exceeded our expectations for our wedding day. Mackenzie, Stephanie, and Brian made communication clear, concise, and they had easily accessible information for all of my millions of questions. The majority of guests we had traveled from out of state and they were in awe of the venue as well as how they felt at home at Harvest Moon Pond. Mackenzie is a gem of a human and went above and beyond to fix an issue with the catering staff like it was nothing! She coordinated everything to day of and was calm, cool, and composed which helped me as the Type A bride feel at ease knowing she had the reigns. Getting to know the staff at Harvest Moon Pond has been such a blessing as we know we are part of their history with the horseshoes, but feel also a part of their family! I would highly recommend this wedding venue and the Harvest Moon Pond staff to fellow couples!
